Megan Edrington is a violist and teacher in the Boulder/Lafayette area. She holds a Masters degree in Viola Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder studying with Erika Eckert. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Florida State University studying with Dr. Pamela Ryan and Karen Clarke. Megan teaches privately and performs with the MEO String Quartet, Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra, Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra.

Before moving to Colorado, Megan was the orchestra director at Glenridge Middle School in Orlando, Florida. During her tenure the orchestra program received recognition for their high standard of excellence through the participation in music performance assessments. During the 2007-2008 school year Megan taught middle school and high school orchestra for St.Vrain School District in Longmont.

In her spare time Megan enjoys hiking with her husband and daughter and enjoys doing anything else that involves spending time in the great oudoors.
